React Native Intro

Hello again! After learning React, I wanted to get into building mobile applications. And since I just learned React, React Native was an obvious choice. In this blog post I will be briefly introducing React Native and setting up a simple application called TodoApp from scratch using React Native. Let’s get started!


An End to a Chapter

It feels like it was just yesterday, when I first started FlatIron School for Software Engineering, and now it’s almost over! This experience has been amazing! I learned so much over the course of 5 months and to be honest, I’m kinda sad that it’s over. I had the absolute best experience, here and I would recommend this program to anyone that wants to learn coding!


React Redux

We’re here! The Final Project. It feels like it was yesterday, working on my first CLI project, but look how far we’ve come! For my Final Project I decided to create an Application that keeps track of users goals. The user can log what their goals are and maintain a checklist to Reach those goals. Hence, I have named it Reach.


Welcome to JavaScript

“Welcome to JavaScript”. The words that have brought me so much joy and so much pain. For my fourth project I developed a Home Bartender application that lets users share their favorite cocktails. Users, are able to comment, like, and add their own recipes to share with other aspiring at home bartenders. This project was developed with Ruby Active Record in the back end rendered to JSON and sent to the JavaScript front-end.


Rails Portfolio Project

Project 3! Okay here we go, for my third portfolio project I created a Handyman application in which users are able to book appointments with technicians that are signed up for the application. Users can also be managers and create Technicians and view their appointments. The relationships I have between my models are:
